On Monday, Wolf Blitzer attempted to force Pence into accepting a justification for Hillary's recent statements, which described “half of Trump supporters” as a “basket of deplorables.”
Pence reminded the press how few 'experts' or 'analysts' regularly sit down at Wolf Blizter's table to examine the day Seddique Mir Mateen attended a Hillary rally outside of Orlando.
“Look, we live in a free country. And people of ill motives can associate themselves with politics,” Pence said on Tuesday.
“I would draw no more conclusion of [Duke’s] expressions of support than I would the fact that the father of a terrorist who killed 49 Americans was seen at a Hillary Clinton rally, cheering her on and said he was there because she was good on national security," he continued.
“You know to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables,” Hillary said on Friday night.
“Right..right? …The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, you name it,” Hillary continued as the crowd laughed and cheered.
On Monday, the press continued their efforts at damage control despite the fact Hillary collapsed two days after her ridiculous statement.
“There are some supporters of Donald Trump and Mike Pence who ― David Duke, for example, some other white nationalists ― who would fit into that category of deplorables... right?” Blitzer baited Pence.
“As I've told you the last time I was on, I’m not really sure why the media keeps dropping David Duke’s name,” Pence said. “Donald Trump has denounced David Duke repeatedly, we don’t want his support and we don’t want the support of people who think like him."
“And you would call him a deplorable? You would call him a deplorable?” Blitzer pressed.
“No, I'm not in the name-calling business, Wolf. You know me better than that.”
Both Donald Trump and Mike Pence stated numerous times how they disavow any endorsement from David Duke, a former member of the US House of Representatives and KKK member.
David Duke has never attended a campaign rally or event affiliated with the Trump campaign.
On the other hand, Seddique Mir Mateen was jubilant as he cheered on Hillary Clinton at her rally in Florida, only two months after his son murdered 49 people at an Orlando gay nightclub.
“I am so upset,” Seddique Mateen said while explaining how his son robbed Allah of punishing the victims.
“This does not belong to the slaves of Allah, but I am saddened that he has committed this action,” Seddique said. “The issue of gay punishment and homosexuality belongs to god, but god punishes them for whatever they do.”
It's hard to avoid recognizing how Omar Mateen's actions may have been shaped by his father's worldview. In fact, Seddique Mateen frequently commentated on Afghan-language political channels.
Before anyone questions Trump on David Duke, the media should consider asking Hillary about her support from radical Islamic communities.
After crunching data from the Federal Election Commission, Verdant Labs discovered voters named “Mohammad” are more likely to donate money to the Hillary campaign than any other name.
Bernie Sanders received the most donations from voters named “Karl” or “Ian.”
"I'm outraged," Jacobi Ceballo said. "For him to come back to Orlando, where his son created devastation, was also mind-blowing. If I would have known that, I would have not come."
A survivor of the Orlando shooting, Ceballo attended Hillary's rally only to realize the murderer's father was celebrating a few rows in front of him.
In August, Trump described how he would handle Seddique Mateen while discussing his attendance to the Hillary event.
"I'd throw him out," Trump said. ""If they're not gonna help us, they're to blame also."
