Contained in a zip file, the documents range from spreadsheets of speaking fees to political playbooks annotated with news articles, which make up the bulk of the data dump.
This latest breach follows news of 'Russian hackers' accessing the DNC’s computer network in order to spy on party communications and perhaps steal their precious research on Donald Trump.
“This’s time to keep my word and here’re the docs I promised you. It’s not a report in one file, it’s a big folder of docs devoted to Hillary Clinton that I found on the DNC server.”
The original Guccifer rose to notoriety after hacking Hillary Clinton’s personal server.
In May, Guccifer, whose real name is Marcel Lehel, struck a plea deal with federal authorities in the midst of his trial.
This development sparked speculation over whether Guccifer began aiding the FBI investigation into Clinton’s private server.
The new Guccifer has resumed the work of the original hacker, who released embarrassing emails on George Bush, Colin Powell and Hillary Clinton.
One document, entitled “HRC and Progressive litmus Test,” includes a 13-point progressive agenda from NYC mayor Bill de Blasio.
The author immediately cites a Huffington Post article then begins the painful task of framing Hillary as a progressive.
“Raise the federal minimum wage to $15 per hour. Clinton has called for raising the federal minimum wage, though she hasn't explicitly come out in favor of $15 an hour, as former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, a likely Democratic challenger, has done," the playbook said.
"That said, though, the bill currently being pushed by Senate Democrats doesn't call for that level either, settling instead for $12.”
As liberals have suggested, it would be impressive if someone typed all these ridiculous Word documents as a political stunt to mar Hillary’s lethargic campaign.
But sadly, I find it more believable that we just read the scribblings of an unpaid DNC intern that quotes HuffPo when drafting Hillary speeches.
The DNC leak consists of prepared defenses for Secretary Clinton. The topics of these anticipated attacks include Libya, Haiti, women, LGBT, emails and so on.
Each of these talking points are annotated with comments and links to news articles, no academic or peer-reviewed papers either.
It’s an interesting insight into how the Democratic frontrunner might design her upcoming playbook.
Among other things, these leaks reveal all the expected attacks the DNC believes Hillary will face in the general election as well as a shoddy defense for each assault.
There are lists of attacks from varying contenders for the Republican nomination. The authors drafted entire barrages of dirt for everyone from Senator Lindsey Graham to Senator Marco Rubio.
If Guccifer 2.0 turns out to be correct, this latest leak highlights the cozy ties between the DNC and Clintons only a month away from the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
With the DNC already crafting Clinton's playbook, it's clear they never considered Sanders a legitimate contender in their rehearsed election.
Until then, we will just have to wait for the next Clinton leak.
