Yes, Bernie denounced his own trolls and Trump retweeted them, but Hillary has to pay for shills.
“The task force staff’s backgrounds are as diverse as the community they will be engaging with and include former reporters, bloggers, public affairs specialists, designers, Ready for Hillary alumni, and Hillary super fans (…),” according to a release from Correct The Record.
Correct The Record has raised $5,084,093 from donors, $1,350,305 of which goes to paying salaries, wages and benefits for employees.
Clinton White House adviser Paul Begala praised Correct The Correct for the contributions to free speech.
"I always tease David that he finds all of these nerd virgins and locks them away in a vault where they never see sunlight or have a drink or get laid. But God bless them!"
"They're always there; they're working around the clock," Begala said.
These weaponized shills are the latest measure targeting the supporters of Bernie Sanders and soon Donald Trump, who Hillary continues to demonize on national media in what appears to be an overture to the general electorate.
While this group offers employment to her “super fans,” Hillary might find an opportunity to save on overhead costs for her online enforcers..
A few years ago, we began hearing many news stories of “scam artists” getting paid to write fake reviews for products. There are also reports of online bots generating reviews for various companies.
More recently, Microsoft debuted an Internet AI, known as “Tay,” on Twitter.
Designed to mimic a young woman on social media, Tay quickly transformed into a Nazi chatbot after observing some of the Internet’s average denizens.
Naturally, this led to Microsoft pulling the account offline, then accidentally resurrecting Tay and finally killing it.
Still, one can only wonder how much refinement Tay will need before she can join the "Barrier Breakers" in their war against "Bernie Bros" or anyone else with dissenting opinions.
Now, our politicians pay shills to subvert the democratic process as a cheap alternative to developing a personality like Trump or Sanders.
